American Democracy, an Endangered Species

In November of 2000 a dark cloud fell over the State of Florida. An election was stolen and the government of these United States was high-jacked by Right-Wing Republican extremists. Since then the American people have been attacked by terrorists and forfeited their Constitutional rights one by one.

The dark cloud has come to rest over the U.S. Capital and is spreading over the land in an unstoppable wave of mass hysteria. 'We the People' have been replaced by corporate rule, and 'Government of the People' has been replaced by government of the ruling class.

Our grand experiment in democracy is coming to an end soon. The elite have taken control of our minds through the corporate owned media and propaganda. How long do we have before Orwellian "Thought Police" decend upon us and free-will and imagination become obsolete? Not long if we choose not to fight. Already the full power of the Federal information gathering machine is descending upon the average citizens of this country under the guise of terrorist detection.

Total Information Awareness was only a dream for Hitler, but todays technology have made his dream a reality and a special department headed by the convicted felon, John Poindexter of Iran-Contra fame, is open for business spying on the citizens of this nation. We will soon become a police state without rival, past or present, if the elite are allowed to have their way.

We must resist the loss of liberty starting with the local government and state government levels. If we choose to ignore the centralization of power at the federal level, we will enter the darkest period of American and perhaps world history. Fascism, or corporatism is alive and well in America. Just open your eyes and ears, a 'New World Order' is being planned in the White House and the halls of Congress. If you thought for a minute that democracy was safe in the USA, then open your ears and listen to it's "death cry"!

Only then will the gravity of the current situation take root.
